I Love Christmas!

We didn't see any good fights on Black Friday, so Jill and I thought we would have our own - right in the "pop aisle"

This is what Jayme is going to be getting for Christmas. Truck Repairs! He had a little mishap this morning while going pheasant hunting. We are just thankful noone got hurt.

Yesterday, we went and cut down our Christmas tree. Cruz loved playing in the snow!

Aaron, Cruz, and Ciera had a great time searching for the perfect tree.

Just a funny side note - As I was posting this, our perfect Christmas tree fell over! All the ornaments fell, the water went all over the presents, the lights went every where! What a mess! Merry Christmas!

Cruz the Politician

Cruz ran for "House of Rep" in his class government, and he won! He said he gets to make the laws of the class and he was going to let the class chew gum. I think he will make a great politician!

Summa Fun!

We have had a GREAT summer! We have been so busy and it has just flown by. Kalin played American Legion baseball all summer. They made it to state. Now he is in the middle of 2 a days for football. I know he loves it!
Cruz played A LOT of baseball too! His Allstar team made it to state, so we spent a week in Gunnison.

Here is the cutest little girl ever! Gracie was so much fun at the cabin.

Here are the two naughiest girls ever! Just kidding Jill! Hanna makes us all laugh and keeps us on our toes.

While we were in Gunnison we stayed at Palisades State Park. The lake was a lot of fun. Here is Kalin throwing Jayce off the swimming dock. Jayce did his share of throwing people off though! We have had such a fun time together this summer. I have many more pictures to post. (since I took 2 months off!)

Summer

Our summer has officially started, and already I am feeling overwhelmed with how busy we are going to be! Kalin is playing on an American Legion baseball team, doing summer basketball, and football. In his spare time, he is umpiring at the Little League field. I am glad he stays busy - but come on!!
We have already done a little bit of camping. It is a good thing we have George and Tony because they know how a camp fire is supposed to be!

Here is Ciera, Aaron, and Cruz. They had a great time over Memorial Day, even though it rained. They can always find something to do! Hopefully things will settle down, but who knows! I just love being home during the summer!!!!! (Sorry Jill!)

Camping!

It is almost time for our first camping trip of the year and I can't wait! I am ready for good food, good friends, and a camp fire!!!

I know everyone is probably tired of seeing sports pictures of my kids, but that is all I've got! My life consists of going to work, going to a ball game, going to bed. That is it!!! So, needless to say, here are more baseball pictures of Kalin.
He has done very well this year. He pitches and plays shortstop for the JV team and the Sophmore team.

His season is almost over. They were supposed to play at Park City today, but because of the "Swine Flu" scare, that game has been postponed. But don't worry, Cruz has a game tonight so I won't have to change up my routine!

Tomahawk

A couple of weeks ago, Cruz was asked by the Roosevelt Strike to play in a tournament with them. It took everything he had to put on their uniform and play with them! (Actually, we had to make him) He played great even if he wasn't happy.
Now, this is much better! This is Cruz's "team." He plays Super League most Saturdays and he also plays on his league team during the week. His nick name is "Tomahawk."

For such a little guy, he sure can make some big time plays!

Jr. Prom

Kalin went to Jr. Prom on Saturday. He had a great time. I think his date was waaaaay out of his league, but try to tell him that!

This was their group for dinner. Again, don't know how he got such a cute girl to go with him! And a senior girl!!!

They went to the ranch for their "day date." They had a fun time riding 4-wheelers, eating, and being obnoxious teenagers.

Baseball

Kalin has been doing very well on the high school baseball team. He is starting on the JV and Sophmore teams at shortstop and he pitches. He was so happy to get his #13 back this year! (Tyson!) Now if it would just warm up so I can actually enjoy a game!

Hola Amigas!

We had such a great vacation! This year we got to go for real, instead of just our pictures.
Here we all are on the beach. We spent 90% of our time on the beach and it was incredible.

March!!!

I think March is my very favorite month. These are all the reasons why I love it so much:

• It is the beginning of spring
• Baseball starts!! (Congrats to Kalin who made his high school team and to Cruz who is playing on a traveling team)
• March Madness!!!
• This year the best part is we are on our way to sunny Mexico! See ya next week!
  

Oh No She Didn't!

Jayme received a package in the mail from Jill Noorda on Saturday. She sent him a speedo for our trip! Thanks Jill! I tried to post a picture of him wearing it. We even have a mullet wig to finish the outfit. But, he thought a picture floating around the internet of him in a speedo might jeopardize his career. Boy, this is going to make our vacation interesting!

Christmas in February

I was looking through some pictures today and realized I forgot to post any Christmas pictures. These are some of my favorites. The gift of the year was the foamy stuff Tyson and Lauren gave to all the kids. As you can see, even the adults liked it. (If Jill counts as an adult)

"Ah-ha" Moment

I had an "Ah-ha" moment yesterday. I was sitting in a meeting happily guzzling down a huge diet coke. I looked around and noticed how many other people were guzzling down soda too. What I noticed was, the people who were drinking the soda were not exactly the thin, fit type. The thin, fit people all had a bottle of water in front of them. What does this tell you? Maybe carrying around a jug of diet coke isn't the answer to weight loss. I have been "addicted" to diet coke since high school. I decided if I really want to lose weight and be fit, I need to get rid of my addiction. So I am happy to report, that was my last diet coke. I have been diet coke free for a whole 24 hours!!!! (Yes, my head is pounding.) Kalin thinks I am going to go crazy and overdose on diet coke but Cruz has faith in me. Hopefully, I will be able to stick to it. Wish me luck!
