Christmas in February

I was looking through some pictures today and realized I forgot to post any Christmas pictures. These are some of my favorites. The gift of the year was the foamy stuff Tyson and Lauren gave to all the kids. As you can see, even the adults liked it. (If Jill counts as an adult)

"Ah-ha" Moment

I had an "Ah-ha" moment yesterday. I was sitting in a meeting happily guzzling down a huge diet coke. I looked around and noticed how many other people were guzzling down soda too. What I noticed was, the people who were drinking the soda were not exactly the thin, fit type. The thin, fit people all had a bottle of water in front of them. What does this tell you? Maybe carrying around a jug of diet coke isn't the answer to weight loss. I have been "addicted" to diet coke since high school. I decided if I really want to lose weight and be fit, I need to get rid of my addiction. So I am happy to report, that was my last diet coke. I have been diet coke free for a whole 24 hours!!!! (Yes, my head is pounding.) Kalin thinks I am going to go crazy and overdose on diet coke but Cruz has faith in me. Hopefully, I will be able to stick to it. Wish me luck!

Congratulations Jill

Cruz and I got to meet the author of Fablehaven, Brandon Mull, yesterday. He was doing a book signing in Roosevelt. We thought it was really cool and he even gave me a free poster!! We love the Fablehaven series. Thanks to Ashly, who told us about it.
Did everyone know Jill is the RC Willey Employee of the Month!!! Congrats Jill! It must mean, she ruined the most amount of Christmas's. Way to go Jill!
Also, Welcome Home Caleb! We can't wait to see you at the ranch!!!

Fish Stories

Jayme went fishing yesterday in the snow. (sounds fun, huh!) He caught this 23 inch rainbow. He was pretty proud!!!

Fog shmog!

I hate it when it is foggy and we don't see the sun for days on end! It makes my grouchy and depressed. I have gotten some good news lately to cheer me up though. Here it is:

• Cruz scored a 233 on his NWEA Math test. He obviously did not get his math ability from me!
• Kalin got a haircut!!!
• Kalin scored 17 points in his win against Park City yesterday.
• One of Kalin's teachers told us he was her "Model Sports Marketing Student." Too bad he can't have sports marketing all day. Apparently that is his thing, because he has never been a model student in anything else!

Hopefully, this stupid fog will go away soon and that will be REALLY good news!!

Oh what a game!

We had the best time at the Sugar Bowl! It was the best game I have ever been too. This was our sign that we held up after the game. It even was on TV for about a half a second.
There were all kinds of Utah fans there! This was on Bourbon Street and it was crazy!

Steph tore it up on the karaoke stage!!!

We even got our picture taken with some Alabama fans. Actually, most of them were really nice but if they said "Roll Tide Roll" one more time they might have gotten thrown in a garbage can! They were not saying it after the game though!!!

Here we all are showing off our awesome tickets! That was by far one of the funnest times I have ever had!
