Turkeys and Baseball!

Kalin got his turkey on Monday morning before school.
This is Cruz's turkey. It looks a little beat up but it was bigger than Kalin's and that is all he cares about!
This is Kalin pitching against Park City. He pitched a shut out! They won 5 - 0.
This is Cruz pitching in his first game on Saturday.
His team won 12 - 9. He said it was a "dog fight!"

Our Cancun Vacation!

Jayme and I just got back from a wonderful vacation to
Cancun! Here we are taking some pictures and enjoying a refreshing beverage.
Here we are enjoying time with James, Mike, Steph, Jeff, and Mike. (and Benny and Amy!)
Here we are poolside with Val and Cass. (and Benny and Amy!)
And here we are again lounging by the pool with Steph. (and Benny and Amy, they seemed to go everywhere with us!)

As you can see, we had a great vacation! Thanks James, Brit, and Steph for making sure we had such a great time!! We will do it FOR REAL next year!

Too competitive???

Cruz has been playing in a 3 on 3 basketball tournament at his school during recess. His team has been winning and he has been really excited. This is the text I got from Jayme yesterday afternoon:

Cruz won again. He played against a disabled kid. Your son has zero mercy!

I think he is a little too competitive. I don't know where he possibly could have gotten that from.

Is it ever going to stop snowing?????

Sickness

I hate being sick! I feel like my head is going to explode, my throat and ears hurt, and I am exhausted. Do you think my students would notice if I just layed down and went to sleep???

March Madness & Baseball! What more could we ask for??

Kalin started playing baseball. He is doing great. He plays shortstop and pitches. These are pictures from his game against Emery. He pitched 3 innings and didn't give up one hit. He said his curve ball was "workin!"

As you know we are a very competitive family! Well, Kalin has decided his new life goal is to beat his dad in basketball and he succeeded - ONCE. But according to Jayme, he let him win. So this was the rematch and just to rub it in, Jayme wore his goofy clothes and of course, he won. Kalin is getting much better and I am sure that it won't be long until Kalin is wearing goofy clothes and rubbing it in Jayme's face!
