Proud to be an American!

Today I am very thankful to be an American! I am thankful to Grandpa Johnson for instilling in us a love of politics. And I am especially thankful for those who have fought for our freedom. Don't forget to vote!

I'm feeling so lazy today and getting myself and 2 kids to the Adair County Annex-where ever that is-seems overwhelming. BUT I know I'm going to end up going because I don't want to disappoint Grandpa.

I got up early and voted!! I really miss Grandpa this time of year because I would love to know what he is thinking about this mess the world is in now!! Aaron and I were talking about that and Aaron thinks he is sitting up there laughing about it!! I would love to know who he would vote for today!

You're right, Grandpa is laughing at us all and shaking his head and would have a lot to say! Glad you're not being 'lazy' Megan. Jonah will love running around at the voting place! (Thinking about putting 2 kids in car seats is over whelming, that's why you're young). Just emailed my friend in England and she told me she is going to wake up tomorrow first thing and look at the 'telly' to see who won.
Thanks, Liesl

I think we all know what Grandpa would be saying about election but I don't know what he would say if he knew his son voted for a Crazy for Governor. A proud American I am also.
